Mediation<\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em><u>Legal Career<\/u><\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">He worked in <strong>Malaysian Assurance Alliance (MAA)<\/strong> as a Claims Examiner in the Bodily Injury Claims Department (Motor) where he assesses Bodily Injury Claims and negotiates direct settlements with Third Party Lawyers all around Peninsular Malaysia. He then chambered with <strong>Messrs John Yong &amp; Irene Song<\/strong> and was exposed to Banking Litigation, Bankruptcy and Companies Winding Up Proceedings and General Civil Litigation. He later joined <strong>Messrs Wong Choo &amp; Partners<\/strong> as a Lawyer and was exposed to General Civil Litigation, Commercial Dispute Resolutions, Construction Litigation, Probate and Administration matters, Drafting of Settlement Agreements, Guarantor &amp; Indemnity Agreements, Tenancy Agreements, Employment advisory, Personal Injury and Fatal Claims, Mediation and Arbitration. Joshua has also attended and completed the <strong>Yayasan Bantuan Guaman Kerajaan (YBGK) <\/strong>seminars.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Joshua founded <strong>Messrs Joshua &amp; Associates in 2014 at Puchong (No. 16-03), Selangor <\/strong>and expanded the firm :-<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\r\n<li>Puchong Office (No. 16-02), Selangor (2017)<\/li>\r\n<li>Penang (2018)<\/li>\r\n<li>Kelantan (2019)<\/li>\r\n<li>Puchong Office (No. 12A-02), Selangor (2020)<\/li>\r\n<li>Johor (2020)<\/li>\r\n<li>Perak (2022)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Joshua is also a <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Lecturer<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"> in <\/span><strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">Infrastructure<\/strong> <strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL)<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"> on a part time basis from 2011-2018 (8 years) where he lectures Contract Law, Sales Of Goods Act, Agency Law and Partnership Law.<\/span> He was then invited from 2020 \u2013 2023 (4 years) as a <strong>Tutor<\/strong> in <strong>Multimedia University, Malacca (MMU)<\/strong> where he tutors on Alternate Dispute Resolutions. During his legal practice, he has assisted more than 3000 clients in administering their deceased\u2019s estate and have provided them not only the legal solutions but also the practical solutions from his vast experience of cases.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><u>Legal Seminars<\/u><\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Joshua has also conducted various legal seminars on Probate &amp; Administration, Family Law, Business Law, etc throughout Peninsular Malaysia where his seminars are surrounding the area of Estate Administration of a deceased\u2019s estate and issues related thereto. He provides legal advices to Estate Planners, Financial Planners, Will Writers, Insurance Agents, Casket &amp; Funeral Service Agents, Developers, NGOs, School Organisations and various societies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><u>Other Interests<\/u><\/em><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also teaches Taekwondo since 2005 and officiates Taekwondo Championships as a Referee during the weekends. This allows him to better understand and handle people from all walks of life. In March 2015 and June 2015, Joshua was appointed as the <strong>Legal Advisor<\/strong> and <strong>Honorary Secretary General<\/strong> of the <strong>Taekwondo Kuala Lumpur State<\/strong>. In May 2016, Joshua completed the International Referee Course (WTF) held in Bonn, Germany and is now a qualified <strong>International Referee (WTF)<\/strong> in Malaysia.
